When there is nothing else to do...or u just dont wanna do anything - head over to Sherlocks!

This one is multi-level and has a place for a LIVE band and bars on 2 of the 4 levels...(levels as in seperated by 4-5 stairs). Also...they have a TACO stand outside!!

The drinks are good, the water is free - and u could see the fireworks off the 5 patios....

A Day at Conroe City Pool

Since there is nothing to do in Willis...we took a trip to Conroe to go swimming.

Conroe Pool is off of I45.

Doesnt that just look awesome? Especially since its 107 degrees outside!! The "bucket section" is kinda a kiddie pool/play area. Off to the left side of it are 2 body slides....then...the best part...UNDER a tent like section is the diving boards. So you can sit in the shade instead of frying like an egg.....

They are open 11-7 and take random 15 minute "safety" breaks thruout the day. We left after the second one... they kick everyone out of the pools/slides for a mandatory meeting/break. But you can use that time also to slather on more SPF 125.

What better to eat after a swim and burning sun than CHEETOS!

And after all that....only the top of my right hand is peeling...
hahaha

Choco Pudding In Willis

Me and my "youngest" got bored and raided the pantry at my mother's house (or is it e-paw's house?). Anyhow...all we found were hot cheetos and pudding.

No the cheetos are not in the pudding....or Are They??

This instant stuff is pretty cool...no cooking or baking involed! Pretty Nifty....

3 cups cold water with one packet and wisk for 2 mins or so and put in cups/containers and let cool in fridge.......

or....

Eat directly out the bowl.....

ENJOY!

KATZ on Westheimer

My brother and I go to Houston almost every other weekend....so I thought I would start posting some pics of the food and interesting things we eat.

We were looking for jewelry for my new Monroe/Crawford piercing and then it hit us....OMG we havnt eaten it like 2 hours!!

Well across from Katz is a Womens Shelter store...kinda like a small Goodwill. The place always is packed (Katz not the shelter). In fact they get so packed that the shelter's parking lot is actually the extra lot for Katz.

This is the Reuben sandwich....and a pickle of course. Yes it is as big as it looks! The bread is actually hollowed out so when you take a bite the meat and stuff doesnt slide onto your lap.

You also get a "starter" of coleslaw and pickle. My brother actually ate the slaw...no mayonnaise in it. There is a trick to eat it tho...the waiters/waitresses are more than happy to tell you how...but here it is. ~~ Dijon/Spicy brown mustard and hot sauce. Yes tabasco. And no I dont eat tabasco...but on the slaw it was really good.

This is the Open Faced Tuna Melt and Onion Rings.... The sandwich is warm. Im used to eating the tuna melt from Hobbit. No celery or creepy things in it like yogurt. Wasnt too bad...I will not be getting it again...just becuz I didnt like it being warm. The onion rings were good and thick and hot.

Each sandwich was around 8$-10$. Katz is a Kosher restaurant also. So no meat w/cheese type stuff. The manager walked around all the tables and asked us at least twice how we were doing and if everything was ok. The waiter we had was good...he was always checking on us and without food in our mouths (most of the time).

Definitely will go back and try some other things on their menu.

Nail Magic TRIAL

NAIL MAGIC ( NAIL HARDENER AND CONDITIONER)

I went to Sally's and thought I would try this stuff that is suppose to change your soft, brittle, splitting nails to strong, long, healthy ones. After reading thru reviews and youtube videos...looks like this is actually "magic for ur nails".

This is my nails before painting them with the "nail hardener and conditioner in one" Nail Magic.

I removed nail polish, pushed cuticles back and washed/dried my hands and fingernails.

Then I added two thin coats of polish as it states....

And VOILA! Beautiful Long Hard Nails....hahaha not quite. I will try and post pics as I go...
It actually dries shiney....
My nails on some of my fingers are REALLY short and it kinda burned...like my right hand middle finger...
I do not bite, pull, pick on my nails/cuticles. My nails are just - sucky. I have been wearing artificial tips and acrylic overlays for awhile and thought I would try something new.

So We Shall See!!
