We were looking for jewelry for my new Monroe/Crawford piercing and then it hit us....OMG we havnt eaten it like 2 hours!!
Well across from Katz is a Womens Shelter store...kinda like a small Goodwill. The place always is packed (Katz not the shelter). In fact they get so packed that the shelter's parking lot is actually the extra lot for Katz.
This is the Reuben sandwich....and a pickle of course. Yes it is as big as it looks! The bread is actually hollowed out so when you take a bite the meat and stuff doesnt slide onto your lap.
You also get a "starter" of coleslaw and pickle. My brother actually ate the slaw...no mayonnaise in it. There is a trick to eat it tho...the waiters/waitresses are more than happy to tell you how...but here it is. ~~ Dijon/Spicy brown mustard and hot sauce. Yes tabasco. And no I dont eat tabasco...but on the slaw it was really good.

This is the Open Faced Tuna Melt and Onion Rings.... The sandwich is warm. Im used to eating the tuna melt from Hobbit. No celery or creepy things in it like yogurt. Wasnt too bad...I will not be getting it again...just becuz I didnt like it being warm. The onion rings were good and thick and hot.
Each sandwich was around 8$-10$. Katz is a Kosher restaurant also. So no meat w/cheese type stuff. The manager walked around all the tables and asked us at least twice how we were doing and if everything was ok. The waiter we had was good...he was always checking on us and without food in our mouths (most of the time).
Definitely will go back and try some other things on their menu.
